I'm giving it 3 stars because the decor was ABSOLUTELY awesome. The food on the other hand was not as impressive. It wasnt bad.. but i found it rather bland and the lack of brown gravy for the hamburger steak makes the review generous.
Quant bit of history out in the country with great food and atmosphere.
Good food and the comadre is awesome. Just has a great old time vibe with alot of antiques and things to check out...oh an REAL FOOD 👍💪
Very interesting local place that's half country store and half BBQ joint. The staff is friendly and helpful and the BBQ is wonderful. Try the piggy fries. Who doesn't love BBQ and French fries?!? Get the ribs if you can as they're also really good.
Was good. Glad we went, but most likely wouldn't go back.
Bar B Que. Burgers and fries. American roadside dinner at it's best. A beautiful drive to a outstanding place. A afternoon well spent
Country store with fantastic food.
Quaint old place, good service and good food. Fair prices and great coconut pie.
Great food 👌👏 great 👍 atmosphere!
I got the barbecue plate and it was delicious. The slaw was good, the baked beans were actually baked beans, very good. The fries were crisp outside and soft inside and the barbecue was really good. Texas toast completed the plate The young ladies taking orders were very sweet. It was my first visit and I will be going back. There is a lot on the menu I want to try.
We absolutely love their food and the service we receive when we go. We've been multiple times and have never had a bad experience.
I live 3 mins away and it is one of my favorite places to eat. They have really stepped up their game cause I ate there when we moved here 6 or so years ago and wasn't impressed with their burgers. Now I rate them the best burger around. Get the sledge hammer with order of onion rings. Awesome!!! Piggy fries are great as well. That's what the wife likes. All in all a great place to eat.
Great food and great service !
Must see stop. Excellent home made food. With true southern atmosphere
I've been hitting this place after my Saturday hikes for the last few months. This was my sixth visit. People are very friendly. Places clean and homey. I always feel comfortable coming here. The ribs are also to die for. I pestered the owner, Donnie, enough to finally have him make a brisket. It was wonderful and very kind of him to go above and beyond for me. This is off the beaten path but it is a local and rare gem these days. To my fellow section hikers on the AT, make this your reward after a great hike. And don't forget their desserts, apple pie ala mode and butterscotch pie are phenomenal.
Great BBQ (can purchase sauce). Live music on Thursday at 6:30pm on the porch - usually bluegrass. Cash or check only.
Great atmosphere and awesome food!
Great food and amazing service! Loved it! Will definitely be going back soon!
Great food, friendly service, always the best TN experience!
Great food, great place. These 2 girls are slammed running everywhere but they are keeping it together. Great Job!!!!
Love living history and awesome food. Highly recommend.
Go Friday or Saturday for the home smoked barbequed ribs. Great burgers too.
Atmosphere was like walking into the General store from Little House on the Prairie. Loved it. BBQ was great!!
This little restaurant is awesome it's like stepping back into time with amazing food and amazing staff the only bad thing is they do not accept cards it's cash or check only.
Ate here today for the first time. My daughter and I love the nostalgia of this place. The food was absolutely wonderful! We will be back often.
Awesome experience. ... Very delicious food amazing lemonade great. ..no excellent service
Live music, outdoor dining, and great food if you're into barbeque. Worth a try for sure.
This is a real hidden gem, as in the middle of nowhere so you better trust you Google Maps if you are heading here. Old timey feel. A hundred years of memorabilia plastered everywhere, so plenty to see.$75.00 (with tip) to feed 3, which I would say is a little high but when you throw in the music I would call it a deal. Food was good, not great, but the coconut cream pie brought the whole experience to a 4. I'll be back if I can ever find it again. Jeff L-8 Google Guide
We accidentally drove by this store and had to turn around to check it out. It had a wonderful atmosphere. It really takes you back into time. We walked in to buy a soda and realized it was more of a restaurant. The staff was super nice. I really loved the train that circled around the ceiling. We did not have to sit down to eat but I wish we had made time. I am sure the good is excellent.
Great little mom and pop place to stop in and get some barbecue. I love the large pulled pork sandwich with fries and Cole slaw. Love the atmosphere and all of the old decorations. Tonight's dinner was great as usual. My only fault is that they don't except Debit cards. Cash or check only but not really a big deal. We enjoy it very much.
Nice little, out of the way place. Stopped by on our way back from Margarette Falls. Excellent service, really good pulled pork BBQ, and a cool vibe. And if you are lucky enough to speak with Mr. Hammer you are in for a real treat.
We love this place! The food and service are exceptional but the atmosphere makes it a great place to take visitors after a morning at the David Crockett State Park. The best baked beans ever! Be sure to save room for pie!
This is a very cool place to visit and to eat at. It's set up like an old timey general store. The food is good and the people are really nice.
Great food and atmosphere. Friendly staff.
This place is always wonderful. Service, food quality, atmosphere and a historical spot. I highly recommend it!
Cute out of the way General Store and Restaurant. Great food, decorated with very old/antique items, most are for sell.
Very quaint and homey. Great food and atmosphere. The staff are all very kind. Be sure you have cash or checks. They do not accept any type of cards. I learned on the way out after my meal.
Great place to eat if you're into the 1950's. Makes you feel older than you really are.
Oh my goodness! This place has wonderful food and atmosphere!
Very cozy atmosphere and great food.
QuaintFirst time being served by a waitress with a baby on her hip.

Great food been trying for 3 years to get there. Absolutely fantastic place.
Delicious and quaint. The Philly cheese sandwich and homemade potato salad melted in my mouth! Must try!
Delicious food and astonishing interior
A great place to eat. See beautiful open farm land on the way, wonderful staff and Great Food. Should be a bucket list eatery.
This place never dissappoints! It has anice little country store feel with all kinds of trinkets lining the walls. The porch area is vast and welcoming. I've honestly enjoyed ever item I've had on the menu. Pro tip: have dessert!
